Download Festival: Leopard Print Dreams.

*in a really annoying singing voice* I'm baccccccckkkkkkkkk!!

Okay, right. Back to business, back to the work. Two posts wrote in one day, who do I think I am? But this post is on a much happier note, back about something I love and I'm passionate about. To celebrate my birthday, me and one of my childhood best friend, Becca, went to Download Festival. We've wanted to go for years for as long as I can remember, every lineup that came out, year after year, we said "Let's do it." but finally we went and we conquered the five days. Five days of camping, booze and little to no sleep at all. But at the end of it, we turned around and said: "Same again next year?"

I really wanted to do a Download Festival Lookbook. I had all these ideas floating around my head, I had the outfit, the background, everything all planned out in my head. But I didn't think there would be so many people. But around the mass people, we got the pictures! I love being comfy, I love feeling comfortable because then I can fully enjoy myself. I wanted to be comfy but yet try new things. I love the oversized t-shirt look. So effortless and chic.

But the main thing I loved about my outfit was the customised kimono I got especially for Download. It was my statement piece. But to make it even more special, it was handmade by Becca. She went to study fashion at university in London and now makes the most stunning kimonos I've seen. I love kimonos, they are perfect all year round, and for any occasion too, if it's being around the pool, to a festival or even a night out. I think kimonos just to give an outfit some edge. So I messaged her, I wanted one for Download and I gave her my idea's; I wanted 80's, leopard print and I a statement piece and she hit the nail on the head.

It screams my personality, which I wanted. I love something loud, which is going to do all the talking. I think dressed up with a little black dress and boots would work just as well as a casual oversized man's t-shirt, fishnets and Doc Martens. It just brings the whole outfit together. Becca does everything herself, every stitch she does herself. She's handmade to order clothing label, which means when you send her your size/ measurements. It's going to fit. I'm now between a UK 16/18 and my kimono fit beautifully. I wanted it slightly oversized, and that's exactly what I got.

Can we just appreciate how rock'n'roll chic I'm looking? These were all taken during Black Stone Cherry and we were just waiting patiently for Guns and Roses to start for their three-hour set! Yes, you read that right, I've started the three-day lookbook I have planned on Saturday but I had to bring you my kimono because it'll be featured it so many more outfit posts. And I've already put in my order for more!

Here's Becca's Depop and her Instagram to give all her posts the love they deserve <3
